the Beurs van Berlage opens its new exhibition space with the exhibition Berlage, Godfather of Dutch Design http://www.beursvanberlage.com/…/berlage-godfather-of-dutch….
The exhibit dissects Berlage’s style and presents the grace and tenacity of current Dutch Design through a number of contemporary examples. Works of more than 20 Dutch designers can be seen in the exhibition, including 3 objects from LABEL/BREED's collection 1.00. Shown are '1.20 - glazed brick bench' by Chris Kabel and St. Joris, '1.30 - fibre placement chair' by Marleen Kaptein and the Netherlands Aerospace Centre and '1.40 - flax chair' by Christien Meindertsma and Enkev.
